Webinar Summary

This webinar is intended to provide managers / supervisors / directors with tools and tips in preparing and dealing with returning employees to the workplace during the pandemic and continuing to manage the workforce in this New Normal workplace. The following topics will be addressed:

  • Conducting a workplace assessment in response to the Public Health Requirements and COVID-19 (what needs to be done in the workplace to ensure compliance; tools and equipment required, social distancing requirements, etc.)
  • Identify how this will impact your workplace, your staff, your productivity, your efficiency as a  business/organization
  • Prepare the workplace in response to your workplace assessment: social distancing, masks, handwashing stations.
  • Create and implement COVID-19 policies
  • Create or update existing policies on issues impacted by COVID-19, such as remote work, leave of absence and travel policies
  • Prepare a communication plan for returning employees, communicate before, during and after their return to work
  • Communicate how these changes will affect:
    • Their workplace environment
    • Their workplace best practices
    • Their workplace interactions
  • Managers / Supervisors / Directors will be offered HR strategies and tools to help them navigate and manage this New Normal, where emotions could range from stress to depression and everything else in between.
