The Trucking Industry is one of the most important and Influential industries in the province of Nova Scotia.
Without Professional Drivers, Dispatch Workers, Logistics and Warehouse Operations we would not have the essentials for our day-to-day life.
That is why keeping those that work in the Trucking Industry safe from injury is our main priority.
However, when an injury does occur, it is essential that we find safe and suitable work as soon as it is safe to do. For those with more serious injuries, finding permanent accommodations in the Trucking Industry, for our valuable trucking resources is as equally important.
The Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association (NSTSA), The Trucking Human Resources Sector Council Atlantic (THRSC) and the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia (WCBNS) have partnered to create a program with built in resources to support the Trucking industry with both transitional duties for a new claim as needed and work with you to find alternate jobs for more long term injured Workers.
