Armour Transportation Systems is looking for a Manifester based out of our Moncton, NB location.
Position Overview: The Manifester is responsible for effectively manifesting, communicating, and controlling the flow of Interliner freight. This role includes documenting load quality, reviewing paperwork, and monitoring freight exceptions to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
Shift Schedule: 12:30am – 9:00am (Mon – Fri), starting earlier at 9:30pm on Sunday nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manifest Ontario LTL freight from CCT.
- Ensure receipt of the daily release email from CCT regarding unit readiness and scanned manifests.
- Complete CCT’s trip and manifest in a timely manner and notify Ontario Dispatch upon completion.
- Track all BOLs scanned by CCT in Truckmate and cross-reference with Armour’s freight bill numbers.
- Maintain timely communication with the CCT shift clerk regarding concerns, TDG issues, or missing information.
- Monitor and report on all priority freight movements, both inbound and outbound.
- Document and track Interliner “freight no bills” and “split” shipments for trend analysis.
- Scan and index Interliner manifests with OS&D notations.
- Audit and document load quality, ensuring images are downloaded and indexed to improve operational efficiency.
- Proactively monitor Dicom’s EDI transmissions and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify freight bills that require special delivery instructions.
- Assist with cube and reweigh support tasks, including monitoring.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Experience and understanding of the TMW System is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to log data and prepare reports in Excel and Word.
- Strong typing skills.
Education & Experience:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Industry-related experience preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CITT, Business certificate, or industry-specific certifications are beneficial but not required.
