Job Summary

Lighthouse Transportation Inc. is looking to expand our long-haul flatbed division. To build on our current success, we are looking for Long-Haul Flatbed Drivers. We are looking for professional drivers who pride themselves for being safe, efficient and most of all enjoy their work. The chosen candidate will report directly to the dispatcher and will be given assignments that will take them across the Maritimes and into Quebec and Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities

Show punctuality and professionalism in customer service
Operate and drive safe trucks and flatbeds to transport goods and materials
Ensure safety and security of cargo
Perform pre-trip, in transit and post-trip inspection to oversee all aspects of vehicle
Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
Receive and relay information to dispatcher
Properly record hours and mileage in logbook
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle

What you will need to join the Lighthouse team

Must hold valid Class 1 License with an air brake endorsement
Minimum 2 years’ tractor trailer experience
Good Abstract for minimum 2 years
