Full-Time CLASS 1 LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVERS
Job Description
Jeramand Trucking Ltd is looking to hire Class 1 long haul truck drivers in a permanent part-time position at the rate of 0.42¢/mile.
We are a broker for Midland Transport and want to hear from you:
-If you have an acceptable driver’s abstract, acceptable criminal record, and clean drug test

We require:
– Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with airbrakes
– 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
– Safe driving record verified by a current driver’s abstract
– Criminal record check
– Must be bondable
– FAST card
– Passport
You must:
– Be able to operate GPS and other navigation equipment; CB radio; on-board computer
– Have knowledge with inspection reports, dangerous goods occurrence reports, accident/incident reports, trip reports, BOLs, trans-border documentation, driver logbook, maintenance and repair reports
– Receive and relay information to a central dispatch
– Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
– Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
– Operate and drive articulated or straight trucks to transport goods and materials
– Use maps and other trip planning aids
