This role is designed for those who enjoy a dynamic and varied work, as it encompasses local deliveries, regional routes, and long-haul deliveries. Our operations team will decide the route based on our customer’s needs, and you will be compensated for the ability to be flexible and help give the best service to our customers.

What’s special about this role?
Dynamic Work Environment: You will be exposed to all variety of truck driving – from local deliveries, regional routes, or possibly long hauls, this position offers it all keeping each day interesting and rewarding.
Compensation: A mix of hourly, mileage and flat rates depending on the work completed.
What kind of deliveries will you have?
Long Haul: Depending on a driver’s ability and competency you may haul cargo using a flat deck trailer or container chassis and travel throughout the Maritimes and Quebec and Ontario. There is the possibility of going further out West with proper market opportunities.
Regional: Again, depending on the driver’s ability and competency you may haul cargo with either a deck or chassis throughout just the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
Local: Deliver and pickup up cargo to and from the piers in Halifax using container chassis/ flat/step to customers to or from points in mainland Nova Scotia
* While we aim to align dispatches with drivers’ strengths and preferences, we expect drivers to be flexible in accepting assignments to maximize their earnings.
Flexible Driver Compensation Plan
Hourly wages (within mainland Nova Scotia, except Cape Breton)
$26/h (base + holidays + paid sick days + vacation)
* Vacation pay calculated at 4%
Mileage and stops pay (Cape Breton, regional and long-hauls)
$0.56/mile (base + holiday pay + paid sick days + vacation)
* Vacation pay calculated at 4%

What will you need to join our team?
– Must hold a valid Class 1 License.
- Minimum of 3 years Class 1 License driving experience (Canada or USA).
– Minimum of 2 years driving flatbeds
– Availability for local, regional and long-hauls
– Have a good driver’s abstract.
– Good time management skills.
